Te Ara Wahine Toa Part 2 is a one-day leadership programme that builds on learnings from Part 1 and can also be taken as a standalone. Focused on confidence, awareness, and influence, the programme strengthens practical capability in communication, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and team alignment to support effective leadership and sustained performance.

Te Ara Wahine Toa Part 2 is a one-day leadership programme for emerging and mid-level women leaders. It can be taken as a standalone programme or as a continuation of Part 1, shifting from leadership concepts into practical application and workplace effectiveness.

Programme outline

This programme focuses on applying leadership capability in real workplace contexts, strengthening confidence, awareness, and influence. Participants explore:

  • Emotional intelligence, including self-awareness and empathy

  • Communication for impact, including difficult conversations

  • Cultural awareness in practice and workplace dynamics

  • Practical approaches to maintaining performance under pressure
