Puatala recently had the privilege of delivering the Incomparable Programme to a standout group of students at Fraser High School, known as Aiga Tasi.
Translated as “one family,” Aiga Tasi is a collective of young leaders who brought warmth, insight, and cultural pride into every part of the programme. Throughout the workshop, students explored their identity, strengthened their confidence, and engaged in meaningful conversations around purpose, leadership, and the values that will shape their futures.
The Incomparable Programme is designed to equip young people with essential soft skills and cultural grounding to support them in school, work, and life. With a strong focus on connection and self-awareness, the sessions encouraged students to reflect on who they are, where they come from, and how they want to show up in the world.
What stood out most was the depth of engagement from the Aiga Tasi group. Their willingness to participate, challenge ideas, and uplift one another created a strong sense of belonging and highlighted the impact of youth-led spaces where culture and leadership are closely connected.
Puatala acknowledges the staff at Fraser High School for their ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for students to grow not only academically, but as confident, values-driven individuals. The Puatala team looks forward to continuing this important work and supporting more rangatahi to recognise the strengths they already carry within them.
